Abstract: Pinisi Ship is a traditional wooden ship which is still made in a very traditional way. Pinisi ship’sperformance has been proven by many oversea journeys. To identify the value of Pinisi ship’s performance, modeling process with Three Dimensional Diffraction Theory will be conducted. The goal of the process is to identify the value of ship’s displacement. Pinisi ship’s dimention parameters are obtained by field data acquisition. Beside modeling of Pinis ship, modeling of other floating structures such as floating box and prism are also conducted as a comparative model. In the modeling process, various analyses related to hydrodinamic parameters such as Added-mass coefficient and Displacement Response Amplitude Operation (Displacement RAO) will be conducted. By using ISSC wave spectrum, displacement responses from the floating structures mentioned above will be acquired and later will be compared.
