Abstract: Indonesia is one of the largest oil and gas producing countries in Asia. Production from oil and gas is used to meet the needs of domestic energy resources and is also used as an export commodity abroad. Therefore, adequate supporting infrastructure is needed, one of which is for transportation of oil and gas production, namely a port in which there is a pier structure. One oil and gas company in Indonesia which has its own wharf for the transportation of its products is Citic Seram Energy Ltd, which operates in the Oseil field of the Non-Bula Seram block, Maluku Province. This Final Project will discuss the planning of the design of the structure of the liquid bulk dock (Liquid Berth) type dolphin deck on pile with the British Standard design method in the Maluku Field Development Project serving the crude oil commodity and heavy gas High Sulfur Fuel Oil (HSFO). The planned wharf consists of three main dolphin structures namely loading platform, breasting dolphin, and mooring dolphin. The initial stage in designing the pier is by collecting secondary data consisting of environmental data and data from the pier’s operational plan. Data processing is intended to obtain design values as a basis for the preliminary design stage of the pier. The planned pier structure must be strong enough to withstand both vertical and horizontal forces due to environmental influences and due to operating activities on the pier itself. From the preliminary design stage, it will be obtained the dimensions of the pier structure and the dimensions of the structural elements which will then be carried out structural modeling using structural analysis software. In this modeling phase will get a picture of the performance of the planned structure of the forces at work. The results of structural modeling are unity check ratio (UCR), deflection, internal forces, and placement reactions of the pier structure. The inner force obtained will then be used to carry out the reinforcement of the structural elements of the pier. The final stage of the design of the pier in this Final Project is to calculate the carrying capacity of the soil to find out how deep the pile will be used so that it is able to withstand the placement reaction of the pier structure based on available geotechnical data. The final results of this Final Project are the dimensions of the pier structure and reinforcement of the structural elements of the pier and the depth of the pile.
