Abstract: Every flight which come to and left Bali occur in I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. Bali is one of favorite tourism destination in Indonesia either for Indonesian or foreigner. Therefore, there is always an increase in passenger amount every year and it cause the airport to expand the airport’s facilities. One of the facilities is airport’s apron, it is expanded to fulfill operational needs and level of services. Apron expansion is planned to increase the capacity from 23.7 million in 2018 to 37 million of passenger. In this Final Project, West Apron expansion was designed using deck on pile structure. Apron expansion using deck on pile structure is an alternative design from reclamation method which being realized. Deck on pile structure design was done according to standard by considering existing condition in field. Works in this final project consist of optimization of structure’s elements dimension by modelling using SAP2000 based on value of deflection and UCR (Unity Check Ratio) as structure strength aspects. Next is structure’s element reinforcement design based on internal forces of modeling result. Lastly, calculation of soil bearing capacity based on placement reaction and geotechnical condition for determining the depth of driven pile. The result of this Final Project are structure’s elements dimensions, reinforcement detailing for concrete element based on each maximum internal force, and the depth of driven pile needed to resist apron’s forces based on geotechnical condition in field.
