Abstract : Liquefaction is one of the result of earthquake which turns solid characteristics of soil into liquid. Earthquake waves conduce the loss of soil shear strength and stiffness. Liquefaction analysis consists of qualitative and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis is done based on historical criteria, geological criteria, and soil characteristics. Quantitative analysis is done according to Simplified Seed method. Lombok is an island located in Indonesia which is earthquake prone. Lombok have potential to encounter liquefaction. Group piles foundation is required for liquefied soil in Lombok to endure the load of tank structures. Piles foundation design starts with single pile analysis and followed by the pile group configuration design. Single pile analysis is done for static condition that ignore the effects of liquefaction and dynamic condition that compute the effects of liquefaction caused by earthquake. A-Pile and LPile software are used to compute the single pile capacity. For the group pile design, the distribution of load computed by Group software. Group pile configuration is designed for three condition, static condition, non-liquefied dynamic condition, and liquefied dynamic condition.
