Abstract: Cement terminal owned by PT. Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk. (PT. ITP Tbk.) is private terminal where the scope work is outside of public port. The purposes of building this terminal are to support the needs of cement for construction of Trans Sumatera Highway and also continuity of cement distribution in Sumatera Island. In this final project, there will be design of dolphin berthing structure which is consist of loading platform, berthing dolphin, mooring dolphin, and trestle structure. Collecting the environmental and operational data of port are required to design the layout of berthing structure, determine the dimension of structural elements, calculation of load applied on structure, structural analysis with SAP2000, design of reinforcing bar, analysis of pile capacity, and also calculation of material cost needed for berthing structure. The output of structural analysis with SAP2000 are value of Unity Check Ratio (UCR), deflection of structural elements, load on structural elements, and reaction of the structure. The structure is considered worthy if the value of Unity Check Ratio is less than one (??? < 1) and the deflection is less than deflection limit. Design of reinforcing bar by using the value of load on structural elements. Reaction of the structure is used for determine the depth of the piles where the piles able to bear the load. And also, there will be a cost calculation of material needed for this dolphin berthing structure.
